The days you least want to work are often the days that decide whether the habit owns you.
RESILIENCE
RESILIENCE
On good days the habit and your mood are aligned, so nothing is really being tested. The days you resist are the ones that decide the question, because that is when you find out whether the habit is something you do or something that requires your permission each time. Showing up once while unwilling teaches you more than a week of easy sessions. It proves the practice does not depend on your enthusiasm.
On the next day you genuinely do not want to, do the smallest honest version and then stop. The point is not the output but the record. Each of those days makes the habit slightly less negotiable.
