The road to glory would cease to be arduous if it were trite and trodden; and great minds must be ready not only to take opportunities but to make them.

LEADERSHIP
Anything worth doing is difficult precisely because it has not already been done by everyone. If the route were easy and well marked it would be crowded, and arriving would mean nothing. That difficulty is not an obstacle in the way of the thing, it is the reason the thing is worth anything. Waiting for openings is also a poor strategy on a road with few of them, so most of what you need has to be built rather than found.
When the path looks hard, check whether the difficulty is the point. Then stop scanning for an opening and make one this week, however small.
What makes the path you chose harder than the usual one?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
