The world has not yet learned the riches of frugality.

GRATITUDE
Spending less is treated as deprivation when it works more like an income. Every pound you do not need is a pound you do not have to earn, which buys the two things money is usually chased for, choice and time. The arithmetic is dull and almost nobody runs it. Most people work at raising the top line while the bottom one expands quietly underneath.
Take one recurring cost and weigh what it actually gives you against what it takes in a year. If it does not earn its place, remove it and watch what the freed money buys. The aim is not going without, it is buying back room.
What would you stop buying if you counted it honestly?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
