A resume records what could be measured and transferred. It has no line for the afternoon that changed how you think, the friendship that held for twenty years, the evening you would not trade. Those refuse to appear not because they are minor but because the format cannot hold them.

Write the other list sometime, the one with no professional use. It will clarify what you have actually been spending your life on, and often it argues for protecting the parts that no employer will ever ask about.
