In theory there is nothing to hinder our following what we are taught; but in life there are many things to draw us aside.

RESILIENCE
Knowing the right thing to do is the easy half, and it is the half we keep practising. On the page the principle is clean; in the afternoon there is a tired body, a provoking colleague, a phone, and a dozen pulls that were nowhere in the principle. The gap is not ignorance. Life comes with company and appetite and interruption, none of which were present when you agreed with yourself.
Stop studying something you already understand. Find the point in your day where you most often get pulled off, and change something physical about it: the timing, the room, who is with you, where the phone sits.
What do you know to do and keep not doing?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
