Unless we find repose within ourselves, it is vain to seek it elsewhere.

STILLNESS

WHAT THIS MEANS

Restlessness travels. A new city, a different job, a quieter house will each give you a few weeks of relief and then hand you back exactly the mind you brought with you. That is not an argument against changing your circumstances, some of which genuinely need changing, but it does explain why the change so often disappoints.

Before the next big rearrangement, spend a week finding out whether you can be still where you already are. Twenty unhurried minutes a day with nothing to solve will tell you more about what you are chasing than the move would.
