The manly part is to do with might and main what you can do.

RESILIENCE
The task in front of you, done thoroughly with what you actually have, is worth more than any amount of considering what you might do under better conditions. Half-effort on the available thing while waiting for the worthy thing is how a great deal of capacity gets wasted. Whatever is genuinely in your power today is the only material you have to work with.
Take the least glamorous item on your list and do it properly rather than adequately. Give it the attention you were saving for something more important. Doing the small thing at full strength is also how you become someone who can be given a larger one.
What within your power are you doing at half strength?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
