Being content in your own house is a reasonable measure of how things are inside. When something is wrong, the first thing that goes is the ability to sit still: you need noise, plans, company, anything rather than the ordinary quiet of your own rooms. Enjoying an unremarkable evening at home is harder than it sounds and a better indicator than most.
Notice how you feel on an evening with nothing arranged. If the quiet is uncomfortable, take that seriously and gently, and ask what you are avoiding being alone with. If it is pleasant, that is worth knowing too, and worth protecting from a full diary.
When are you most at ease inside your own house?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
