STILLNESS
Resentment keeps the original injury in the present tense. It asks you to carry the other person around long after they have stopped thinking about you. That is a real cost, and noticing it is not the same as deciding the grievance was unjustified. Some things deserve anger, and the anger was correct when it started.
The question worth asking is what the rehearsal is currently buying you. If it protects you from a repeat, keep the lesson and drop the replay. If it is waiting for an apology that is not coming, that wait may be the thing to release, and it can be done without forgiving anybody.
Whose name still tightens your chest when it comes up?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
