Happiness comes when your work and words are of benefit to yourself and others.

RESILIENCE
Both halves are named for a reason. Work that helps others while giving nothing back to you is hard to sustain, and work that serves only you can start to feel hollow. The satisfying arrangement is the one where the same activity does both, though it usually has to be arranged rather than found, and some seasons, such as caring for someone, leave little room for arranging.
Look at where your week goes and notice which parts do some good for somebody besides you, and which do some good for you. If one side is nearly empty, that is worth knowing, and it is not a mark against you. Where you can, add one small thing to the emptier side.
Who besides you is better off for your work?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
