Time is what we want most, but what we use worst.

STILLNESS
Everyone says they are short of time, and almost nobody behaves as though the hours were scarce. The same person who complains about having none will lose an evening to something they will not remember by Friday. Scarcity of a resource usually produces care with it, and time is the exception, largely because it arrives free every morning and gives no receipt. The wanting is real; the handling is careless.
Track where a single day actually goes, honestly, in half-hour blocks. Most people find one or two hours they did not know they were spending, and the finding is usually more useful than any system.
Where did your last free evening actually go?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
