Criticism is something you can easily avoid by saying nothing, doing nothing, and being nothing.

CREATIVITY
Any meaningful choice invites disagreement, because it takes a position somebody else would not take. The only dependable way to escape criticism is to hold no position at all, offering nothing, attempting nothing and leaving no mark. That safety is real, but it costs nearly everything that makes a life your own.
When you hesitate because people might object, ask what the silent alternative would cost you. Accept that some criticism is simply the price of doing anything. Then sort the useful criticism from the noise, and keep going with the rest.
What have you kept quiet about to stay beyond criticism?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
