CREATIVITY
Half-hearted presence is surprisingly common. People attend the meeting while thinking about the evening, go on holiday while checking work, sit with family while scrolling, and end up only partly anywhere. Full commitment to where you are does not require enthusiasm for everything; it means giving the place and the people your actual attention while you are there. The alternative is a life lived mostly in transit between where you are and where you would rather be.
Choose one setting that usually gets a fraction of you, whether a meal, a commute or a conversation. Put the phone away and give it everything for its duration.
Where are you present in body but only half committed?
