Separate what you know from what you merely fear.
REFLECTION
REFLECTION
What you know and what you are afraid of get stored together, and the mixture feels entirely like knowledge. That is how a possible outcome becomes a certain one in your mind, and how you end up planning around events that have not happened. Pulling the two apart usually reveals a much smaller factual situation than the feeling suggested.
Draw two columns and sort what is in your head. Facts you could show someone on one side, everything else on the other. Then look only at the first column and ask what it actually requires you to do.
Which of your worries is a fact and which a guess?
