Your abilities deserve updated assumptions.
REFLECTION
REFLECTION
You carry assumptions about what you can handle that were formed at some particular time and have quietly become permanent. They govern what you take on, what you refuse, and how you describe yourself, all without ever being checked. An assumption that has gone unexamined for years is not knowledge, however familiar it feels.
Pick one belief about your own capacity and ask what would show it was wrong. Then look for that evidence rather than for confirmation. Updating even one of these tends to change more decisions than you would expect.
What do you still assume you are bad at?
