Raise your ceiling by raising what you repeatedly practice.

RESILIENCE

WHAT THIS MEANS

What you can do at your best is determined largely by what you practise regularly. Raise the standard of your ordinary repetitions and the peak comes up with them, because the top of your range rests on everything below it. Trying to lift the ceiling directly, without changing the daily practice, tends to produce brief peaks that do not hold.

Look at what you actually do most often and ask whether it is at the level you want to reach. If your routine work is casual, that is where the ceiling is set. Improve the ordinary version and the exceptional one follows.
