The trap loses power when you stop being hungry for the bait.

LEADERSHIP
Every trap requires your cooperation in the form of wanting something. The flattery, the shortcut, the too-good arrangement all depend on the appeal being strong enough to override your judgement, which is why the same setup catches some people and slides right past others. Reducing the wanting does more than improving your detection. The bait stops working before you have to be clever about it.
Know what you are most susceptible to, whether it is recognition, being needed, or a quick way out. Name it plainly so you can recognise it when it is offered. The offers do not stop, they simply stop being effective.
What are you hungry enough for that somebody could use it?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
