Don’t reveal your destination to people who are studying how you travel.

LEADERSHIP
Someone studying how you operate is interested in predicting you, and knowing your destination lets them position themselves in advance. Being open about your methods is generally fine and often generous; being open about your aims with people who benefit from anticipating you is different. The distinction is not paranoia. It is simply matching disclosure to context.
Before sharing what you are working toward, ask what the listener gains from knowing it. Share freely with people whose interests run with yours. With everyone else, describe what you are doing rather than where it leads.
Who knows your plans without any real need to?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
