Practice before the audience, not because of the audience.
RESILIENCE
RESILIENCE
Practice done for an audience bends toward looking capable rather than becoming capable. You choose the drills you already do well, you stop early where it gets ugly, and the parts that need the most attention stay untouched. Real training tends to be unattractive to watch, which is precisely why it works.
When you are working on something, notice whether anyone is watching and whether that changes what you choose to do. Deliberately spend some time on the part you would not want observed. The point is not secrecy but honesty about where you actually are.
What do you rehearse only when someone will be watching?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
