Let us be grateful to the mirror for revealing to us our appearance only.

REFLECTION
There is a mercy in the fact that a surface is all a mirror can show. Whatever you are carrying, the doubts, the things you have not told anyone, none of it is visible in the glass, and none of it is visible to the people passing you either. Most of the harshness you feel about yourself is private, and you supply it. The face looking back is only a face.
If you catch yourself in a mirror and start listing faults, notice that the list is coming from you and not from what is in front of you. Try leaving it at what you can actually see.
