The things that we love tell us what we are.

REFLECTION
What you are drawn to describes you more accurately than what you say about yourself. Your stated values are chosen; your affections are not, which is why they give you away. Look at where your attention goes when nothing is required of it, and you have a fairly honest portrait. Self-knowledge is less about introspection than about noticing what you keep returning to.
Spend a few minutes listing the things you have loved without being able to justify it: a subject, a kind of person, a way of spending an afternoon. Ask what they have in common. Then check whether your week has room for any of it.
What do your loves say about you that you rarely admit?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
