LEADERSHIP
Confidence that needs an audience is still asking for something, and that request is visible. What reads as genuinely secure is the version that would behave the same way in an empty room, because it is not performing for anyone. The absence of a demand is what makes it believable.
Watch for the small ways you seek confirmation: the story told to be admired, the accomplishment mentioned in passing, the glance to check that it landed. Try leaving one out this week. Notice that the fact remains true whether or not anyone acknowledged it.
Where do you seek an audience for your own certainty?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
