To affect the quality of the day, that is the highest of arts.

GRATITUDE
The hours you live in are the material, and shaping them well is harder than the work you do inside them. Most people treat a day as something that happens to them. Treating it instead as something you make changes what counts as a good day. A day can hold very little and still be well made, or hold a great deal and feel like nothing.
Pick one thing tomorrow that changes how the day feels rather than what it produces. A slower first hour, a meal eaten without a screen, a walk at dusk. Protect it the way you would protect a meeting you cannot move.
What single change would make your day better to be in?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
