Let competence make the introduction.

LEADERSHIP
Work speaks before you do, and it speaks more persuasively. When people encounter competence directly, they form their own conclusion, which is stickier than any claim you could have made. Leading with claims sets up a comparison the work then has to survive.
In your next situation where you want to be taken seriously, say less about your qualifications and let the first substantive thing you do carry the weight. Prepare that thing carefully. It will do more introducing than your introduction would have.
What would your work say about you before you spoke?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
