A clear picture of your abilities has two halves, and most people keep only one. Knowing your strengths gives you somewhere to stand; staying honest about your gaps gives you somewhere to go. Holding both is what makes long improvement possible without swinging between arrogance and despair.
Make two short lists this week, one of what you can reliably do and one of what you currently cannot. Use the first for confidence and the second for planning. Update both periodically rather than living in either one.
Which weakness of yours have you accepted too quickly?
