Ambition wants to build something. Greed just wants more of it. Check which one’s driving.

LEADERSHIP

WHAT THIS MEANS

Both feel identical from the inside, which is exactly why the distinction matters. One is organized around something you are trying to make exist; the other around a number going up, with no version of enough attached. The first has a finish line and produces a thing. The second expands to fill whatever you feed it and tends to cost you people along the way.

Ask what specifically you are building and what would count as having done it. If you cannot answer, that is worth sitting with. A defined target is the difference between wanting and merely accumulating.

A QUESTION TO SIT WITH

Are you trying to build something or just collect more?
