Waiting to be chosen is comfortable because it keeps the responsibility somewhere else. There is rarely an authority whose job is telling you that you are ready, and the people who look selected mostly started first and got noticed later. Credentials help and they are almost never the gate you imagine. Beginnings are usually unofficial.

Start the small unauthorized version this week. Write it, build it, organize it, offer it to one person. Permission tends to arrive after the evidence rather than before it.
