Fitting into a small space usually costs you something you do not notice handing over. You stop mentioning what you are working on, you laugh at the joke about people who try, you shave down what you admit you want. The room stays comfortable and you get smaller inside it.
You do not have to leave anybody behind. Add one place where the whole version of you is ordinary, like a different table at lunch or a forum where people post what they make. Notice how much less editing you do there.
Which room do you keep editing yourself down to fit?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
