Personal excellence and leadership are two different skills, and being brilliant at the first does not hand you the second. A leader gets measured by what happens to everybody else’s numbers. Sometimes that means passing when you had the shot, or explaining something slowly instead of just doing it faster yourself.

Find one place this week where you could make somebody else better rather than being the one who delivers. Show them the thing you worked out. It costs you time now and pays back later.
