LEADERSHIP
Goals set years ago were made by somebody with less information than you have now. Keeping one out of loyalty is not persistence, it is a failure to update. There is a real difference between quitting because something got hard and changing direction because you learned something.
Ask whether you still want the thing itself or only the identity that came with wanting it. If it is the identity, say so quietly to yourself. Then pick what you would choose if you were deciding today.
Which goal from years ago no longer fits who you are?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
