Success does not change people so much as remove the limits that were keeping certain parts of them in check. If you are already impatient with people who have less, more resources will simply let that run further. Deciding in advance is possible, and it is far easier than deciding in the moment when nobody is telling you no.

Write down three things you will not do regardless of how well things go. Keep it concrete, about how you treat people and what you refuse. Show it to somebody who will actually hold you to it.
