Before you decide, ask yourself if you could explain it out loud to someone you respect.
RESILIENCE
RESILIENCE
Reasoning that only works silently is usually reasoning with a hole in it. Saying a choice out loud to a specific person forces it into plain sentences, where the weak part becomes obvious. You do not actually have to have the conversation. Imagining their face is often enough to change the answer.
Pick your person, someone whose opinion you would not want to dodge. Run the next real decision past them in your head, in full sentences. If you find yourself editing as you go, that edit is the thing to look at.
Which recent decision would you struggle to explain to someone respected?
