Fear can have opinions. Just don’t hand it the pen when it’s time to sign.

RESILIENCE

WHAT THIS MEANS

Fear is decent at noticing things and poor at deciding them. It is built to flag anything unfamiliar, which means it will flag good chances with the same urgency as real danger. Listening to it is reasonable. Letting it make the call means every unfamiliar thing gets refused.

When something scares you, write down what it is actually warning about, in one line. Sometimes it names a real risk you can prepare for. Sometimes it just says this is new, and then you get to thank it and go anyway.
