On the days you don’t feel like it, showing up at half speed still beats a zero.
RESILIENCE
RESILIENCE
Consistency is not built out of good days, because there are not enough of them. What keeps a streak alive is a version of the thing that survives a bad mood or a short night. Half effort keeps the habit intact and the skill warm. Zero has to be restarted, and restarting is always the expensive part.
Define your minimum now, while you feel fine: the smallest amount that still counts. Ten minutes, two pages, one set. On a bad day do that and call it done, because it is.
What could you do at half effort rather than skip?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
