Responsibility gives you leverage over parts of life blame cannot move.

Blame is an accurate tool and an inert one. It can identify a cause perfectly and still leave you with no way to affect anything, because the cause is outside you. Responsibility is a smaller claim with more reach: it points at whatever you can actually move.

For a situation you are frustrated by, list the parts that are genuinely within your influence, even if they are only your own responses and preparations. Work there. It is a shorter list than you want and a longer one than you feel.
