Nobody from later is coming back with a heads up. You are the only one positioned to run the numbers, and you have most of what you need already: you have watched other people make this exact choice and you have seen how it went for them. That is the closest thing to a warning that exists.

When something feels tempting and fast, spend two minutes writing what next month looks like if you do it and if you do not. Keep it plain and specific. The math is usually obvious once it is out of your head.
