Handled something well? Say it out loud: “I’m proud of that.” You coach everyone else. Coach yourself too.

GRATITUDE

WHAT THIS MEANS

You hand out encouragement all day without thinking about it, to a teammate, to a friend before a test, to a little sibling. Then something goes right for you and you move straight to the next thing. Saying your own good work out loud is not bragging, it is being as fair to yourself as you already are to everyone else.

Pick one thing you handled well this week and say it where you can hear it, in the car or in your room. Nobody else has to know you did.

A QUESTION TO SIT WITH

What did you handle well that deserves saying so aloud?
