Take possession of what becomes possible once excuses leave.

Excuses do useful work in the short term and then start occupying the space where options would go. When you set one down, you usually find several things become available that were invisible while the explanation was in place. The possibility was there all along, hidden behind a reason.

Take one explanation you use often and try, just as an experiment, assuming it is not available. Ask what you would do then. Some of those answers turn out to be genuinely possible.
