Some moves become powerful only after enough information arrives.

A move made before you understand the situation spends your leverage on a guess. The same move, made once the picture is clearer, can be decisive. Timing changes the value of an action more than most people account for.

When you feel ready to act, ask what you would know in a week that you do not know now, and whether it would change the move. If it would, wait for it deliberately with a date attached. Waiting without a date is a different thing entirely.
