Some situations reward the person willing to remain uncommitted slightly longer.
STILLNESS
STILLNESS
Being the last uncommitted party in a situation is a genuine position of strength. Everyone else’s moves are visible, their needs are apparent, and you can act on the fullest picture available. There is a limit past which delay becomes irrelevance, but before that point the advantage is real.
Ask whether committing now buys you anything you could not get by waiting a little longer. If not, hold. Watch for the point where your uncommitted status stops being interesting to others, and move before it.
Where could staying undecided a little longer serve you?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
