Telling a friend they hurt you is a risk. Letting it rot quietly is a guarantee.

RESILIENCE

WHAT THIS MEANS

Saying that something hurt risks the friendship for about ten minutes. Saying nothing does something quieter: the thing stays, you get a degree cooler, and the whole friendship thins out over months without anybody knowing why. Silence only feels safer because the damage it does has no single moment to point at.

Keep it small and specific when you bring it up. Name what happened, name how it landed, then stop instead of stacking on three other examples. Most decent people fix it right away once they know it registered.

A QUESTION TO SIT WITH

What hurt are you letting quietly rot inside a friendship?

Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
