Do not confuse inactivity with lack of progress in a changing environment.
STILLNESS
STILLNESS
In a changing environment, the situation develops whether or not you are acting on it. Time passing can improve your position, clarify the facts, or remove obstacles without any input from you. Judging your progress only by your own visible activity misses all of that.
Ask whether the thing you are waiting on is actually moving on its own. If it is, your stillness is not stagnation. Reserve your energy for the moment when your action will matter.
Where has quiet progress looked to you like standing still?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
