Everybody has ideas in the shower. The difference is who dries off and builds one.

Almost everybody has watched somebody else release the idea they had first. The gap is not imagination. It is the unglamorous stretch between having the thought and having a version of it that exists, and most ideas are lost in the first hour because nothing got written down.

Capture it within a minute, however rough. A voice note, a line in your notes, three words. Then give it thirty minutes the same day, because an idea that survives its first half hour of contact with reality has a real chance of getting built.
