Taking correction without pouting is a rare skill. Coaches remember who can handle a hard sentence.

RESILIENCE
Getting corrected in front of people stings, and the reflex is either to defend yourself or go quiet and sulk for an hour. Both teach the person correcting you that helping you costs them something, so next time they say less. Being able to hear a blunt sentence, nod, and try it the other way is genuinely uncommon, and adults clock it immediately. It is not about being tough, it is about not making feedback expensive.
Next time someone tells you that you did it wrong, say thanks and ask one question about the fix. Whatever you feel can have its hour later.
