Your story having a messy middle doesn’t mean God lost the plot.

Any middle looks like evidence that things have gone wrong, because you are reading something unfinished. Mess is not the same as abandonment, and a story being hard to follow from inside does not mean nobody is writing it. God has not lost track of where you are.

When it feels incoherent, write down what is actually true today rather than what you fear it adds up to. Take the next honest step and leave the arc to Him. You are allowed to not know how this resolves.
