If God is who He says He is, your panic is running on bad information.

GRATITUDE
Panic tells you the situation is unsurvivable and that you are on your own with it, and both feel like information rather than symptoms. Holding what you believe about God up against that is not the same as being told to snap out of it. Fear is a physical event, not a verdict on your faith.
When it comes, try naming one thing that is true out loud, even something as small as where you are. Breathe slower than feels natural and let the wave pass without arguing with it. If this happens often, tell someone who can help, because that is sensible and not a lack of trust.
What are you panicking about that assumes God is absent?
