Your last name walked into that room before you did. Leave it better than you found it.

LEADERSHIP
You arrive carrying a set of expectations you did not build. Somebody in your family was in that town, that school or that industry first, and whatever they did is already sitting in the room shaping how people hear you. None of it is fair and all of it is real. The one part you control is which direction it moves while you are holding it.
Assume people have met a version of your family before you walked in. Be the correction or the confirmation on purpose rather than by accident, and remember the next person with your name inherits whatever you leave there.
Do people expect certain things because of your last name?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
