Consistency is measured over distance, not moments.

RESILIENCE

WHAT THIS MEANS

Any single day is nearly meaningless as a measure. Consistency only shows up when you look across months, where individual days blur and the pattern becomes visible. Judging yourself by today is like judging a road by one metre of it.

Pick a longer unit for assessment and stick to it. Look at the month rather than the day, and ask whether the direction held. Most of what feels like failure at close range disappears at that distance.
