LEADERSHIP
Anything is easy to maintain while it is new and people are interested. Standards only really exist on the days when everyone is tired, the novelty is gone, and there is no good reason to bother. Whatever survives that is your actual standard, and whatever quietly slips was never one, just a preference. The test is boredom rather than pressure.
Pick the one thing you will not let slide, and hold it on the flattest day this week. Just that one. Let something else be imperfect if it has to be, and keep the single thing you decided was the line.
How do you behave at the fortieth practice of the season?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
