You update your apps every week. When was the last time you updated an opinion?

Software gets revised constantly because everyone accepts the first version was incomplete. Opinions are held to a stranger standard, where changing one reads as defeat rather than as maintenance. The information they were built from keeps moving regardless. A view you formed three years ago and never revisited is running on old data, whatever its merits at the time.

Pick one position you have held a while and look at what has changed since you formed it. Read the strongest version of the other side, not the easiest one. Either you come back holding the same view better, or you have done some routine upkeep.
